Lord Voldemort

As this is a subject that has come up far too often of late, I shall illuminate the matter for the ignorant masses.

I am a far cry from a two-dimensional caricature of a villain. I am a living, breathing Dark Lord, one who has transformed greatly over the years but is still something akin to human--not always the 'evil' monster I am portrayed to be. Certain measures I have taken are necessary strategies of war, of defeating My enemies and maintaining absolute power and control in order to bring about My great vision for a new era. It is really quite simple: those who are foolish enough to resist are dealt with until there is no more resistance. This makes the world better for all, because it allows us the opportunity to weed out the weak from the strong, and will make us that much more united together as a new wizarding society.

I have more powers in reserve than Dumbledore could have ever dreamed. Come, now, I first learned of horcruxes when I was but a boy. Did he actually believe they were the extent of My means to immortality?

I have returned once again to at last finish what I started. My followers are growing in number, ironically thanks to the squib author who has popularized our cause. I have encountered many potentials in recent years who have professed to Me their wishes to be Death Eaters, and if they prove themselves I shall not disappoint them. I have been reunited with my adoring Bellatrix, and I have encountered those of the old fold, the inner circle. We will rise above the self-righteous hypocrites and their scrutiny. Before this is over, we will have the world pleading for My reign.
